Charlie was blind when he arrived. A few months later, however, we restored his vision through eye surgery. A month after that, he was adopted by a wonderful couple in Washington. Read Charlie's story.

There are many ways you can help the disabled animals at the sanctuary. Here's a list of the things we can always use for them:

 

– In the "Cash Is King" department:

• Cash donations to pay for veterinary care, food, animal housing improvements, and other animal care expenses (our vet bills in 2008 were more than $52,000!)

– In the "Things We Can Always Use" department:

• Tidy Cats Scoop clumping litter for multiple cats (not clay litter)
• Bales of wood shavings (pine/fir, not cedar)
• Grass hay
• Gift certificates for PetsMart and Quality Supply in Missoula and Murdoch's in Helena

And please remember: We're a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, so your donations of cash or goods are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
