This evening we’re having a horse transporter pick up a blind foal for us in South Carolina. This baby is only 3 weeks old and was born without eyes in her head. The owner was going to have her euthanized. The stable manager contacted us a week ago and asked if we could save her. We wanted to hold off until she was at least 3 months old but the owner would not wait past this week. Working with the folks at Best Friends in Utah, we arranged to get her picked up and brought to us in Montana. We just hope the foal can make the trip okay.
