Beagles can be very intense about two major things in life: sleeping and eating. (Fortunately our Beagles are spayed and neutered, so we don’t have to worry about the third major thing in life.) I got this photo above of deaf Stuart sacked out in a chair in our living room. There’s something truly debauched — or at the very least, self-indulgent — about the sheer sprawling nature of that sleeping position.
I thought, where have I seen this before? And then I remembered I had posted a similar photo of blind Widget in late December, sleeping off too much Christmas cheer:
