Here was the scene this afternoon in our living room … Dachshunds Belvie (at top) and Bailey busy eviscerating stuffed toys. What better way to spend the first day of fall?
(Pssst … notice the T-bone shape here, too?)

You seem to have a theme going here with all of the critters! Maybe they have been practicing the T-bone formations when everyone is asleep!

Hey, at least they were hard at work & not sleeping (for the moment). I think the T-bone is a theme the animals at RDR have come up with to say “Thank you.”

Ah yes…my dogs favorite pastime, eviscerating their toys. I used to think they were just trying to get at the squeakers, but they are never satisfied until every last shred of stuffing is pulled out! LOL, glad to know I’m not the only one having to clean up this kind of mess!

Do you restuff them? Or are they DOA once loved to death?

When I was a kid and our dog did that (chewed on, shook, pawed and growled at) with a stuffed toy, my mom called it, “Worrying it to death.”
