Callie’s Coming Home!

I'm in Pullman, Washington, tonight, and will be picking up blind Callie from Washington State University's veterinary teaching hospital tomorrow morning and taking her back to the ranch.  Callie will have her last — and 18th — radiation treatment at 8 a.m. Friday, and she'll be ready to be discharged an hour later.  We can't wait to have her home!  I will post a homecoming photo and update on Callie on the blog for Monday morning.  Until then, thank you all for your kind thoughts and generous gifts for Callie's treatment!

    Oh, I’m SO excited for Callie and her homecoming ! Can’t wait for Monday’s update !

    If any of you are teachers, get your classes involved. I have 8 classes of 8th graders voting, several 7th grade classes and there are elementaries getting involved. The kids love to see if they move RRDR up in the standings and understand that it is for a great place.

    You must be SO excited! Even though we know she was “the belle of the ball” at WSU and received excellent care, this has to be a real load of bricks off your shoulders and huge sigh of relief.
    I know that little Callie is a SURVIVOR, and will be back running the show @ RDR. YAY!
    As a UW Husky through & through, I reserve this for only very special occasions…”GO COUGS!” Thanks!

    Well, it’s 10:55am here in the central time zone so by my calculations you’ve got one very happy little pup either in your arms or in your truck! I wish I could see her enter the house and reunite with all her pack members and “mom”!!!!

    I’m glad Callie is back home and I hope she’s feeling well. And I hope that ear infection is cleared up. And did you see the voting results this morning?? RDR is up to number 4!!! Keep voting every day and ask some friends to help out. We’re aiming for more than the state prize this time.
