Up To No. 3 And $1,000 Weekly Winner!

Button_ARS-click_120x120 Last night we learned the ranch had won $1,000 as the "weekly winner" in the Animal Rescue Site's Shelter Challenge contest, and this morning we had moved up to No. 3 nationwide!  Fabulous!  Thank you for all your daily voting for the animals here — it is clearly adding up and making a difference!  If we can hold the No. 3 spot till the end of the contest in July, we would win the third-place prize of $3,000 plus the $1,000 for the top vote-getter in the state of Montana.  (Not to mention the $1,000 weekly prize we just won!)

    I kept see that RDR was only 30 votes higher then then next competetor in the State division. I was voting like crazy but couldn’t figure out why they were always 30 votes behind, until recently I figured out they were listing the zip codes and not the actual number of votes….how embarassing.

    Yahoo! Hate to put a damper on things, though – according to the rules, if you win one of the top 5 prizes, you are ineligible for the state prize, it goes to the next group in line for that state. So its either one of the top five or the top for the state. Good news is, you can still be a weekly winner and win one of the prizes at the end!
    Go RDR! As the Daley family has taught us, Vote Early, Vote Often!

    Just a heads up, you can set up a daily reminder to be sent to you thru the Animal Rescue site so you don’t forget to vote. It is a good thing to do your daily ‘click’ even if there is no contest going.
