Speaking of barbarians at the gate, we've had Wilbur on a diet for the last few months because … well, because he was getting a bit chunky. He protested the new diet, of course, but recently discovered one unintended (and potentially exciting) benefit — his new, slimmer body now can almost fit through the bars of the gate protecting the kitchen and our dining table from the hordes. But as you can see, he's not there yet. Nevertheless, talk about motivation for staying on a diet, eh?

Congratulations on your weight loss Wilbur.
Maybe you should make an infomercial?? There are lots of overweight dogs and cats out there.LikeLike

I know it’s been said many times, but you should make a book with photos of all the animals and sell it. The proceeds could go towards the Farm. I love to see the new pictures with your comments on the blog. Some of the photos are priceless.

He needs an eye patch and a little black bandana…a few more ounces to loose and he will be the one to be sent in on search and recover missions. I am not so sure how much loot will actually make it back thru the gates, but if not much does, he will again outgrow his sneak attack missions…..
